Good, but not Great.,

While these devotions work great for those traveling internationally, they don't suit the mission trips in country as well. If you like mission trip devos that would work for all ages, both in the States and abroad, then check out Anticipate, Experience, Reflect by Standard Publishing. They are much better and offer a clearer biblical perspective on missions. Lena bogs down these devo's with too much details of her own travels and not even scripture. Many times the devos have very little or no scripture. I stopped reading them after awhile.
Instead use the Standard Publishing set. They are much better, more fitting for a wider audience, and it is written by more than one author each with a different perspective on mission work. |
