So, I have been on a recent kick of finding groups that fall outside of the box of today's constricted music arena and I must say this group is a winner. From the first time I heard their music I was taken away by their uniqueness. A mix of a classical Cuban sounding music that my parents would have listened to in Cuba, with a slight twist of modern flavor that also caters to a younger crowd.
Even though modern technology is used to create the tracks, there is not enough usage of electronica to take away from the purity of the classical Cuban sound. These guys did a terrific job and this CD is worth every penny paid, plus more. I hope they put out more music in the near future. It would be great to see them live as well.

If you like Ozomatli you will love this band too...caught my ear while listening to Pandora Radio. I love their sound, their percussion and horn is perfect with the blend of vocals. Every song had me feeling "Yes!" Im only sorry that this is the only CD! Nothing since 2004? I cannot see this band live? Wha? I want more!!

If you are a fan of Sergent Garcia or Manu Chao, you will very much enjoy this. I love it. First to last track, great music!
