So many members of our family have this book that we trade page numbers instead of recipes. I've given lots as gifts. If my house was on fire, this is one of the things I'd try to save.
And lo and behold it is the repository of ALL my spouses mothers best and very rarely shared recipes for dishes that were fan favorites at the yearly family reunions.
Viola' in one fell swoop I have bested the stuff of family legend.
Now I too can serve up all the yummy congealed salads and highly fattening but oh so yummy hash brown casserole...
A definite win!
