Original take on a standard fantasy storyline,
By A Customer
This review is from: Calling of the Three (Night-Threads, Book 1) (Paperback)
Well written with belivable dialog and characters that are definitely not cliches. The story is the familiar one of people from earth being swept off to a magical realm, and getting caught up in various troubles; but the unconventional characters, and surprising plot twists keep this book quite engaging.

This review is from: Calling of the Three (Kindle Edition)
This is a great example of people from our world being pulled into a world of magic. I've read the entire series in paperback and when I saw the start of the series in Kindle format I jumped on it. I re-read these books frequently. The 3 currently available for the Kindle "The Calling of the Three", "The Two in Hiding" and "One Land, One Duke" do a good job of wrapping up the story. The books that follow add on to the story but you won't feel let down when you finish One Land, One Duke. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I had to write one when I saw that it hadn't been reviewed by many. You don't want to miss out! :)
