5.0 out of 5 stars TechN9ne
Techn9ne is one of the illest rappers ever. I have heard 5 of his cd's and haven't been disappointed yet. He has a very unique style that can't really be compared to anybody. He can rap slow or hang with the fastest like Twista. His lyrics and the way he spits them are crazy and original.I think the best songs on here are #2, #4, #5, #8,and #12 although the whole cd is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Tung twista maniac
TechN9ne has a style nobody can really match except for twista or young droop and he really shows this on Planet rock 2k down south mix. Another song that really stands out is Now it's on featuring lejo. The thing I didn't like about the cd is the beats their not original and they dont match together with the lyrics. Techn9ne has to many appearances on the album as well...

Anyone who is serious about having the tightest rap out there needs to have some Tech N9ne in their collection.......Also check out his latest cd which is tight as hell entitled Absolute Power...Hope you found this review to be helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, January 31, 2003
This review is from: Calm Before the Storm (Audio CD)
Tech N9ne is hands down the most talented hip hop artist out there. His voice is exceptional, the lyrical content of his songs is exceptional, and most of all, his flow is beyond belief. Tech is very articulate as he rhymes telling it how it is. It is probably best classified as underground (semi) gangster rap. Even his album covers contain very deep meanings that he explains in the Tech N9ne DVD released with his latest album Absolute Power. But this album is by far the best, and this is coming from an experienced hip hop listener. I hope you enjoy Tech as much as I do.

4.0 out of 5 stars True Mid West Rap, April 21, 2001
By
This review is from: The Calm Before The Storm Part 1 (Audio CD)
This has to be one of the tightest mid west albums to drop since twista's adrenaline rush, even though it's new, it's still has to be the best. Those who don't know about Tech N9ne yet, peep game and get this album along with "Worst". Get this ish quick. Peace

This is one of the tightest albums I've ever heard. I am a big Tech n9ne fan, and he certainly doesn't disappoint with the great tracks on this CD. If you need a break from the Jay-Z/Cash Money crap, peep this and listen to somebody that puts 150% in every line he drops.

5.0 out of 5 stars What The World Has Been Waiting For Tech N9ne, March 15, 2000

This review is from: Calm Before the Storm (Audio CD)
I could write a million words about Tech, but only a few is needed. To be honest with you I am a rap fan, and there is no one out there right now that is as tight as tech N9ne. If you like his records, you should see the boy live. I loved the Calm before the storm. The beats are cool, but the lyrics make up for eveything. Give it a year or so and this man wil be the most talked about rapper in the country.

5.0 out of 5 stars HumboldtLovesT9, November 22, 2008
This review is from: The Calm Before The Storm Part 1 (Audio CD)
Twista doesnt even compare to Tech N9ne. Tech N9ne is transforming the Strange Music names into its own Genre. Not only is Tech named after the gun because he can rap to the same speed, he has recently taken to be the Number One Selling Independent.
Tech is a whole new thing, he doesnt rap about the money in his pocket or cars or any of that stuff he raps about life, and REALITY.
Check him out in all the CD's. Hes one to love and you can never get tired of Strange Music!

After entering the rap game on 2Pac and Jim Belushi's "Gang Related" soundtrack in 1998 with his song, "Question's," Tech N9ne got lots of heads turning. With his crazy, hardcore lyrics and flow, Tech gained a lot of buzz surrounding the release of his first album, "The Calm Before the Storm Volume 1," which was released in 1999.

Very solid debut from Tech. He kills every single track with his gruesome lyrics and his sick, crazy flow. A must have for any rap fan!

Ok, so check it out. I see the one seller selling this album for $499.00. Ok whoever is willing to pay that kind of money for an album, I don't care if it is good, because well this album is good, but, If you fork over 500 dollars to buy a cd, you should hire me as your personal consultant. Other than that Tech N9ne knows how to drop a rhyme and this album got dope beats.

This album flows so well that you should be amazed if you can stay awake throughout the whole album. Very smooth and mellow music like the title implies. Buy this album and blast it while cruising on the highway with your windows down. Yeah, that kind of music!!!
