The format of this book on the Kindle DX is HORRIBLE. Instead of an easy to read calorie chart at the back it is one continuous run on string of garbage. You can't find anything. Once opened in the Kindle you can not go from page to page because none of your function keys will work. It is like the whole system freezes up. Hitting the "menu" button does nothing, nor does trying to power it off.
The only thing you can do is wait for the system to power itself off so you can open another book. Save your money on this one. :(

I bought this on my Kindle. What a waste of money. It does freeze the kindle. Don't make the same mistake!

While there seem to be technical issues with the ebook, the print book is fantastic! The calorie charts are comprehensive and the introductory info is super easy to understand and very helpful. I use it constantly to keep track of my calorie intake for the day -- a great book!

The book is great, just what I was looking for. The only problem is it showed up with a torn cover. The box was open and there was a rubber band holding the box together when I picked it up. Anyone could have done this but I expected the shipper to pack it a bit better I guess. All in all the purchase was okay it arrived in a timely manner, but if I wanted a used book I would have bought it USED.
