This product is excellent when used wiht the matching 4 1/2 quart sauce pot. It conducts heat extremely well and my chocolate chips melted much faster than with other double boilers.

Item received in great shape. Specific purchase for making pollenta using a double boiler. Worked like a charm. The longer it cooks the creamer is gets.

Good size. Easy to handle. Fit most 3 1/2 to 4 quart sauce pan. Yes the melted chocolate will stick in the rim.
