Not only does this rack look sharp, but it's extremely functional as well. I like simple straightforward design, plus I have a lot of stainless steel accents in my kitchen. This rack fit the bill perfectly.

The title sums up the product: a stainless steel oval pot rack. It is constructed of heavy duty stainless steel. Besides the rack itself, you get a few hooks to hang pots from (hooks are designed to prevent things from falling on your head), and the chain shown in the picture. As the description states, you do NOT get any mounting hardware, so plan on making a trip to you local home improvement store to get the parts to attach the rack to your ceiling. This rack is fairly heavy, plus the weight of pots, so plan on attaching it to your ceiling joists.

This is well worth the money spent on it, if it fits your design style.

My new stainless steel pot rack looks fantastic while it displays my new Calphalon pots and pans. My husband and I put it up together today only to find that we had to run out and get the mounting hooks first. Other than that, it was easy and we are quite pleased to see how well the stainless steel pot rack version goes with the IKEA stainless steel products we have since I originally considered the black-toned one first to go with my Calphalon Pro Nonstick II set. Stainless steel looks so much sharper, professional, and even cleaner.

This rack, made in China -- not USA as the description suggests, is meant to anchor to four points in the ceiling, contrary to the image on the box. I purchased 4 stainless 1/4" x 4" screw eyes and 4 2" "S" hoooks rated to cary about 120 pounds. I attached the rack to my TJI ceiling joists which can handle a maximum 1/4" diameter screw, according to their specs. It took me a couple hours to find the joists, mark points centered with my cooking island, drill pilot holes, and assemble and attach the rack.

The appearance of the rack is a darker stainless steel, and goes nicely with stainless cookware.

I bought this 18x36 stainless steel pot rack thinking I was purchasing the same rack as I would in any store. Come to find out this rack sold on Amazon is different as they do not have notches (as illustrated on the assembly instructions included with my pot rack) on the two u-bars (the straight pieces that connect to the curved end pieces) making it impossible to hang pots on these two inside bars. The only inside bar you can hang pots is the middle one. I called Calphalon about this defect and was told that these racks sold to Amazon are all this way. If I wanted one with the notches on the two u-bars I would have to return the one to Amazon and buy one a Kohl's! I am upset and very disappointed. They are not selling to Amazon what you would be getting from a walkin Dept. Store and in my opinion misrepresenting the product. I was offered no other solution during that phone call. I have now written a letter to them stating the situation and they are working on it. They have since sent me a replacement but had the same problem. It is a nice product but not totally efficent.

this is a super investment in storage that makes optimal use of your space. put it up and free space for other things. and you don't have to empty and refill the oven because you will have someplace else for all those fry pans that don't fit very well in your cabinits. easy to install, you just have to locate the studs (amazon sells stud finders, too) and drill holes and bolt up the chains (yep, buy that drill and bolts, too). get a few of the double sided hangers, they are very handy and make double use of available space.

Great looking and heavy-duty. Not too easy to install, but I doubt any are easy.

This is a great product. The only issue is its height. We hung it over our island in the kitchen. Unfortunately, having pots and pans on it blocked the view from one side of the island to the other - and we used the island as a gathering place for friends and family.

Still, a wonderful and well built product.

I no longer have to reach into cabinets, pushing aside the extra pots, in order to find my favorite pan; they're all at eye level. I recently had back surgery and truly appreciate not having to bend over or reach up into cupboards. My new Neova pots and pans have a stainless steel shine that is complemented by my new stainless steel oval pot rack. Because we have a small kitchen, we were banging our head on some of the pots. When we slid them all to the back half of the rack, everything still hung evenly and looks great! This pot rack is an excellent and convenient way to showcase fine kitchen cookware.

I just purchased and hung this pot rack. It looks great! It's high quality and very functional. This has the notches for the hooks. You need to buy the ceiling hardware separately.

I had previously bought and immediately returned one from Sam's club, it was junk.

saw some other reviews here complaining that their rack didn't match the pic., didn't have notches on the middle beams, so they couldn't put hangers there, etc. the one I got has notches on each beam, bolts together sturdily, and is successfully holding pots.
