Excellent quality dish cloths. Wash them before using so that they are more absorbable. Too soon to tell if they will hold up but much better quality than others I've had that very soon developed holes in them .

These towels are pretty, but a waste if you want them to absorb water or dry anthing.

I love these dish cloths and think the material/feel is great. Not too thick to stuff inside tight spaces (such as cleaning water bottles) but not too thin either. I have had no problems with them not being absorbent either. The only issue I have with them is that after about a year they started to smell funny even straight out of the wash. Seeing that I had about 10 of them and rotated through them on a regular basis, washing every other day or so, this seems very fast for them to become like that. The smell was pretty noticeable and I had to purchase new ones. Since these aren't the cheapest, I wasn't very happy about that, but I do love them and wanted them again. At least the matching hand towels didn't do the same thing!

These towels look look really nice hanging on the rack. Unfortunately, they just don't absorb enough to be remotely useful in the kitchen. Furthermore, they snag VERY easily.

Frankly, for the price I expect more. Calphalon obviously values style over substance where these are concerned. You should simply find an alternative that is more absorbent. I cannot recommend these.

Nice set of towel to go with the coordinating washcloths, pot holders and oven mitts.
Not the most absorbing I have had but the more they get washed, the better they seem to be.
A good deal for the money and matches the rest of the kitchen linens.
