Got this as a free gift for purchasing $400+ Calphalon. It wasn't as impressive as the 10pc set or the 12" Wok. Though this set is still a huge improvement over my Fabreware set.

#1 It resists heat better. The flat piece what works with the wok, you can leave it laying on the wok, and it won't leave a burn mark.

#2 The wood doesn't get damaged with water and oil.

#3 The shape & angle of the big spoon is good for soup. Sounds like tiny thing, but with a good angle, you can spoon soup easier and without getting it all over the place.

#4 It's FREE!! That alone deserves 1 extra bonus star.

If I actually had to paid $50 for this set, then it would be overpriced. Though the heat resistance is good, but really don't need to spend $50 for this. $25 - $30 is more reasonable.

this complete set of Caphalon with accessories was purchased for my daughter and son-in-law as a christmas gift. I have a set and absolutely love it. Cooking with it makes your food cook evenly and delicious. Cleaning is very easy. My daughter gives rave reviews as well.

I recently purchased this set and I am pleased with it. It looks great in my kitchen and it seems to be of good quality so far.

I got this free when I ordered some Calphalon cookware. I threw out the holder after about a month. The outside rusted just from splashes of water from the sink, and I couldn't get it out. I still have the utensils but they are very BIG and BULKY. They are good quality, but I guess I prefer my utensils a little less giant-like!

Looks like good lasting utensil set. I am having them for last 4 months and their performances are still good. Best advantage is the crock pot I got with the set.

Only disadvantage would be the turners, they are not high heat resistant.

This 7 piece cooking utensil set was a very good price compared to other sites. I actually bought this for a friend who was making houskeeping after divorcing and setting up her own house. I only recommend to people the best stuff and this is a nice set.

I bought the set through Amazon along with the pots and pans (set). The utensils are all good. However, the only thing that was defective was the stainless container that holds the utensil set was broken (cracks in the rim) in two places. I have placed several calls to the supplier (only voice mails can be placed) and sent emails but absolutely no reply.

Not sure what to do because even Amazon does not facilitate returns when you buy from a third-party seller.

I love Amazon but will be very cautious of buying stuff from third-party sellers.

This is well made and such; but definitely not worth the $49.99 minus the $5.56 discount I paid for this item.

Calphalon 7-Piece Mixed Utensil Crock Set Nice set, I'm sure there are better, but I do like the Calphalon brand.
