Calphalon Classic Bakeware, Simply Awesome...,
By
This review is from: Calphalon Classic Bakeware 24-Cup Nonstick Mini Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
I have been baking off and on for years now, and I had yet to find a muffin pan that I was really satisfied with until now!
I used my new mini muffin pan for the first time this weekend (8/6/05), and it was awesome! I did not have to spray it with non-stick spray and I did not have to wash it, other than to wipe it clean with a damp cloth! The muffins cooked perfectly, browning evenly, and popped right out of the pan! I would totally recommend Calphalon's Mini Muffin Pan! By the way their cookie sheets are great too!

I tested this brand new calphalon classic bakeware muffin pan against a brand new Chicago Metallic, and hands down, this is a better pan. I didn't use any oil on either pan, and the calphalon muffins popped right out, whereas the Chicago Metallics stuck like crazy. BTW, I used the same batch of muffin dough on both pans. You pay less and get more. I'm getting the bigger muffin pan.

Don't use this pan for mini cupcakes!!!,
By OC Native (Orange County, CA) - See all my reviews

This pan may work well for other things, but definitely not mini cupcakes, or anything with a liner. The typical size mini cupcake liners don't fit well because the pan is too deep. I ruined a whole batch because after they were fully cooked, they totally collapsed and pulled away from the liners. Otherwise, a great quality pan for things like pecan tassies, muffins without liners, etc.
