4.0 out of 5 stars Calphalon Classic Bakeware, Simply Awesome...
I have been baking off and on for years now, and I had yet to find a muffin pan that I was really satisfied with until now!
I used my new mini muffin pan for the first time this weekend (8/6/05), and it was awesome! I did not have to spray it with non-stick spray and I did not have to wash it, other than to wipe it clean with a damp cloth! The muffins cooked...

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't use this pan for mini cupcakes!!!
This pan may work well for other things, but definitely not mini cupcakes, or anything with a liner. The typical size mini cupcake liners don't fit well because the pan is too deep. I ruined a whole batch because after they were fully cooked, they totally collapsed and pulled away from the liners. Otherwise, a great quality pan for things like pecan tassies, muffins...

I used my new mini muffin pan for the first time this weekend (8/6/05), and it was awesome! I did not have to spray it with non-stick spray and I did not have to wash it, other than to wipe it clean with a damp cloth! The muffins cooked perfectly, browning evenly, and popped right out of the pan! I would totally recommend Calphalon's Mini Muffin Pan! By the way their cookie sheets are great too!

I tested this brand new calphalon classic bakeware muffin pan against a brand new Chicago Metallic, and hands down, this is a better pan. I didn't use any oil on either pan, and the calphalon muffins popped right out, whereas the Chicago Metallics stuck like crazy. BTW, I used the same batch of muffin dough on both pans. You pay less and get more. I'm getting the bigger muffin pan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Muffin Pan, February 5, 2009

This is a great muffin pan. It is so easy to clean and cooks everything evenly. I use it to make mini quiches and no oil of any kind is needed. When my quiches are done I just turn the pan over and they come out.

I love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pops right out!, August 18, 2010

Love this pan. I bought it because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. I made some mini-cupcakes (Bibingka) in this and every single one of them popped right out of the pan. I didn't need to spray it or grease the pan at all. Clean up was a breeze. Just took a damp warm paper towel and wiped all the spillage off.

The mini-cupcakes cooked evenly and the pan cooled very quickly between batch refills so I got the same consistency with the next batches (no dealing with overcooked cupcakes on the next batch because the pan retained heat).

I would highly recommend this pan!! Unleash your baking awesomeness!

... and in this case, it's DEFINITELY worth it! This Calphalon pan is sturdy and absolutely non-stick. I've made mini orange-cranberry muffins (sweet - sugar usually causes things to stick, but not these), corn muffins (less sweet, but still can stick in a lesser quality pan -- not with this one), and hors d'oeuvres "shells" using round wonton wrappers that I baked and filled with crab salad. Absolutely NO sticking on anything so far.

No warping, either -- a real problem with my old 24-cup mini-muffin pan. This is a heavy-duty pan.

Yes, it's more expensive, but I figure this will outlast ANY of the other pans available. I consider it a good investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just the best muffin pan!, November 6, 2010

Not as mini as the little tart pans from a less expensive maker, & big enough for most things I bake in them. I don't care for jumbo muffinis. These bake so evenly, and after several months of use, nothing sticks to them. Just a handy and great muffin pan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pan for muffins, November 23, 2011
This review is from: Calphalon Classic Bakeware 24-Cup Nonstick Mini Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
I bake quite often and was surprised by the quality of this pan. I used non stick spray and my muffins came out smoothly with no issues. My other pans usually have burned on muffin/cake mix which is often hard to clean but this was NOT an issue with this pan. The cooked batter came off easily and even though there are mini cups, they were easy to clean with a soft sponge.

2.0 out of 5 stars Stuck!, December 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Calphalon Classic Bakeware 24-Cup Nonstick Mini Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
I have been using this pan for a couple of weeks now, with mixed results. Brownie bites have been sticking a bit, even if sprayed with Bakers' Secret, but I had better luck with pecan tassies. Unfortunately, today I decided to try mini frittatas. Even after oiling the pan generously, the frittatas stuck so firmly that the pan has been soaking for 4 hours now and the thin egg crusts are still attached and even resist scraping with a spoon.
Definitely not worth the hassle. I will have to search for a different pan.

Tasting someones miniature muffins made me want one. I'm so happy with this item. It's used often, even by a someone who doesn't cook often.
