Stamped from high-carbon stainless steel, the four knives in this set are designed to cut steaks, chops, and roasts at the table into bite-size pieces. Because their 4-inch blades are serrated, they tend to rip meat fibers rather than slice neatly through them. On the other hand, the serrations' points make it easy to for the blades to grip a piece of meat that has a tasty, seared crust. Handles are made of stainless steel with a contemporary satin-finish, and the knives are nicely balanced so they feel comfortable in the hand. They carry a lifetime warranty against defects.
