This review is from: Calphalon Commercial Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
This commercial grade muffin pan is far superior to lighter weight non-stick pans. Its superior heat conductivity insures even baking and perfect browning of your muffins with less chance of burning. Needless to say your muffins pop out of the pan (even those with fruit which often stick) without a hitch and clean up is fast and easy. I bake several dozen muffins a week and the consistent results produced by this pan makes it worth every penny. So if you bake muffins frequently and want the convenience and performance of a commercial grade product, this Calphalon pan is highly recommended.

Great product. Nice price., October 14, 2004
This review is from: Calphalon Commercial Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
This pan is worth every penny I paid for it. Very good quality, heafty pans with a nonstick coating. Muffins that stuck like you-know-what in my aluminum pan, no matter how well I greased the cups, slid right out of the Calphalon Commercial Nonstick pan. Clean-up was a breeze, too. I will never go back to using cheap muffin pans.
The only thing that concerns me is that the Calphalon company couldn't tell me what size the muffin pan cups are. I had to wait until I received the pan so I could measure them myself. Each muffin pan cup measures 2 3/4 inches across the inside top. That's a little larger than the standard 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cup. Fine with me, as my old muffin pan cups are the same size, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else needs to know before placing an order.
Don't buy cheap baking pans. I had some cheap nonstick ones, but they rusted. I then bought some aluminum ones, but they weren't nonstick. Further, they started to warp, even though they were BRAND NEW. I finally got smart and bought the best nonstick muffin pans I could find.

Calphalon 12 Cup Muffin Pan - Excellent!, May 8, 2003
This review is from: Calphalon Commercial Bakeware 12-Cup Muffin Pan (Kitchen)
The Calphalon Commercial Nonstick Bakeware collection is excellent. I recommend them without reservation. I really like the 6 and 12 cup muffin pans. I have one 12 cup pan and two 6 cup pans. Sometimes it is nice to have a 6 cup for small batches of blueberry or corn muffins, so rather than buying two 12 and one 6, I think it makes more sense to have one 12 and two 6. If you are making a traditional cake mix it is just the right amount for 24 regular size cup cakes. Occasionally, my husband prefers cup cakes to a regular size cake, no crumbs or cutting and cup cakes are easy to take with you. One note: you may want to check on your cup cakes / muffins a couple of minutes early. I have noticed that cakes are done a little quicker in pans with a dark finish. Many newer recipes will indicate the timing for dark finish bakeware. These pans are also a breeze to clean, just a little soap and water and you are done. Wonderful Pans! Highly recommended! Also, read the Calphalon brochure in the box, if you plan to nest this pan with others make sure to put a paper towel between them to prevent any damage to the nonstick coating. And, this pan is not dishwasher safe. I wouldn't even trade it for an All Clad bake pan, all my cookware is All Clad and I love it but nothing beats high quality, heavy duty Nonstick bakeware!
