After searching all over town for several weeks, I realized that, unfortunately, 8" cake pans are a rarity nowadays. Then I remembered that Amazon.com can locate almost anything. Thank heavens! With these calphalon commercial 8" pans, my homemade cakes now cook evenly and the thicker layers look like a professional baked them.
