I made a lemon bundt cake and used Crisco to grease the pan down but only half of it came out. I agree with the previous reviewer that I have a cheap pan that works a little better than this one.

Because I loved using my Calphalon cookware so much, I decided to find out if their bakeware would give me improved baking results. I'm happy to say that I have been very pleased with this pan. I've had problems in the past with a Nordicware bundt pan - it became scratched on the inside, and my bundt cakes would always stick to it. This Calphalon Commercial Bakeware Bundt Form Pan is very heavy duty, so cakes bake evenly.

Before pouring in my cake dough, I grease the inside of this pan with a bit of shortening, wiping off the excess with a paper towel. Although the pan is nonstick, I find that this method works best. I use the shortest of the suggested cooking times for my recipes. If I need to loosen the edges of the baked cake when removing it from the pan, I use a Calphalon nylon spatula/knife. I hand-wash this pan as I do with all my Calphalon cookware and bakeware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Bundt Cake Pan!, October 15, 2002

I bake often, and have had many "non-stick" bundt cake pans...this one is by far the best! Cakes slip out of the pan with no effort. With other pans, you'd often find me putting the pan in hot water, slipping a knife round the side of the cake (ruining the cake in the process), or whacking it on the outside, praying the cake would come out intact. With this pan, the cake just comes out, and it is beautiful every time!

there is no comparison between this pan and the "store bought".cakes cook evenly and slide out perfectly and clean up is pratically nothing. I make a stacked sticky bun cake and I'm always having to scrape all the goodies out of the bottom of the pan but not anymore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, August 25, 2003

This bundt cake pan is certainly the best I've ever owned. I was so tired of making what had the potential to be a great cake, only to have half of it left in the pan, despite my best efforts. Since buying my first piece, I've cleaned my cabinets of all my old bakeware, and replaced everything with Calphalon.

You should definitely follow Calphalon's directions when they say prep the pan as you would any other, and follow the cake recipe as though this were not a non-stick pan. That is the only way you are going to have the easy slide-out. When I didn't do that, thinking to myself that the pans were that amazing, my cakes stuck somewhat - although nothing like what I'd experienced before.

Take note of the fact that you can't stack Calphalon - make sure you've got the room to store it, or are prepared to take the time to care for it properly. (Paper towels between them.)

Also, you cannot put it in the dishwasher. This is a very important point when it comes to Calphalon.

Again, make sure you read the use and care instructions.

You will never need to own other cake pans again.

It is a shame the commerical bakeware line is no longer produced. This is the best bundt pan ever. I also have jelly roll pans (used for brownies and rolls), muffin tins, cookie sheets, pie pans, large rectangular (sheet cake) pans, round cake pans, and square cake pans. Nothing EVER sticks. Never! I have crunch cake recipe where I coat the pan with sugar before adding the batter. You'd think it would stick. Never. Not once. The cake pops right out. I made the same cake in a non-stick tube pan (not Calpahlon) and it did stick a little, leaving a piece of the coating in the bottom of the pan.

Warning: If you bake something that's left in the pan, get the proper tools to serve it and not scratch your pan. I made this mistake with my pie pans and kick myself every time I see those deep scratches. And of course, the pans are not available anymore. There are cake cutters and pie cutters specifically for this purpose. Get one. Being careful with the wrong tool is not enough!

So if you can find any bakeware in the Commerical line, grab it. Pay the extra price. It is well worth it.

I love this pan! My husband prefers the Bundt shape to traditional round so I use this pan all the time. My cakes come out perfect every time and the clean up is a breeze. The Calphalon nonstick coating really makes a difference. Definitely a step above the rest!

When I first recieved this Bundt Pan, and used it , I thought it was awful...
Only half my cake came out, and I did spray oil in it..
I was very disapointed...

BUT after I bought a can of Flour Oil Spray, that made all the differents.
Now My Bundt Cakes just fall out.

I Love all My Calphalon, so like I said I was very disapointed, but now I bake with it all the time, useing the Flour Oil spray.
