I have owned a cabinet full of calphalon for the past 18 years. Recently purchased a full set of their non-stick pots, and received this griddle as a bonus.

The griddle is far and away the most useful and valuable of the items I now own. It pretty much does everything but clean up the grease by itself. Whatever you cook receives even heat. Excess fats drain off to the sides, and corner pour spouts allow for easy disposal.

Best of all, clean up is a dream. Its the only pot in the house that doesn't make me cringe as I set to cleaning it. Also on the plus side, calphalon really does stand by their products. Over these many years of owning and heavily using their products,I have had to send back (for legitimate reasons) 2 anodized pots. They were replaced without any difficulties.

Well, gotta go eat some perfectly cooked bacon.

I got a great buy on this through Amazon's "Gold Box" offer, but this is a great buy at any price, so I'm buying a second one!
I have a big family and we are always entertaining, so quality equipment that makes a big job easier is always a welcome relief. This griddle sits perfectly across two burners to heat quickly and evenly. It has convenient handles that sit up high enough to pass gloved hands through, which is good because they can get hot.
The higher sides (higher than all other griddles I have used) make it easy to "grab" food without accidently scooting it off the side of the griddle and they also make it SO much easier to pour off grease without spilling.
As pointed out in the other recommendation, clean up could not be easier, and THAT saves time better spent with family and friends.
Large family or small, you won't be sorry to bought this.

I purchased this non-stick griddle with hesitation. The other 15 pieces in my calphalon collection are commercial hard anodized as I prefer the browning ability of that line and I don't particulary care for having to baby my cookware surfaces.

This non-stick variety is easier to clean however, and considering that i'll primarily be using it for the usual breakfast fare and the ocassional sandwich I decided to give it a try.

I prepared bacon and eggs on it and was satisfied with the results as the food browned nicely and tasted great. I really appreciated the fact that I was able to cook everything at once without creating a sinkful of dirty pans and cleanup was close to effortless.

Something I frowned on however, was the tendency of eggs to slide towards the grease channel while frying. Hopefully, this won't be an issue with pancakes. The jury is still out as to how well it browns bread for sandwiches or hashbrowns but I anticipate it will perform well here also.

I store my griddle upside down resting on the sturdy handles to protect the non-stick surface from scratches.

I am so happy that I ordered this griddle! It now has a permanent place on my stovetop. With three kids (four if you include my husband) it's perfect for bacon, pancakes, hot sandwiches....you name it!!! How did I ever live without it? Turn both burners on your stovetop and viola....even heat! I highly recommend this griddle.

I bought this on sale because I thought, for that price, you just can't have too many griddles. It turned out to be my very favorite pan though, and I use it almost every day. Of course it's great for weekend breakfasts (a pound of bacon fits perfectly on it), but it's also great for any dinner you'd normally use two pans for. For example, you can fit several hamburger patties on there and still have room to stirfry vegies on the side. I also want to add that the no-stick finish seems very sturdy and mine hasn't started peeling like cheaper pans do.

If you like making big breakfasts, or even just hate having to wash two pans when you could have used only one, this is a great purchase.

I cook for a family of five and just love this product. I thought I would use it for breakfast foods but find I use it in preparing dinners the most. It spans two burners, heats evenly and cooks just as you would expect a Calphalon product to. It is wonderful for fajitas, burgers, grilled sandwiches, meats, veggies, etc. I like it better than using the outdoor grill.

I love the fact that any fats/juices drain in the ridge around the perimiter of the pan. The non-stick surface cleans very easily. The only drawback is given the height of the handles it can be hard to find a convenient place to store it. Also make sure you have at least one calphalon heat resistant spatula - they are perfect for their pans as you don't have to worry about their warping due to heat. A bonus is I feel like a "chef" when I'm cooking with this.

The griddle sits across two gas burners always. It is a little beat up these days from steady use. The eggs can slide off into the gutter if you place them close to the edge, that's true. It washes up so easy, you will use it any chance you can. I generally use it for breakfast fare. I just had a house load of folks leave and we did french toast for all at once. The gutters are a little deeper than the pan so, if you need a flat surface pan, the griddle is a tiny bit higher. And of course, I only cook over the two burners, pushing things to center to stay warm or removing them or rearranging as they cook. Has a lip to pour out grease and deep enough not to spatter all over the counter. The handles are large to use potholders, they do heat up. It is a great item and should be an essential in any cooks kitchen.

I was given a gift certificate and purchased this pan a couple years ago. It works perfectly and I love using it for pancakes or a full pound of bacon at one time. It saves me so much time being able to cook one pound of bacon at one time. The sides collect the grease. When cooking pancakes you spend half the amount of time at the stove. What a great time saver!

This is without a doubt the most used item in my kitchen and still as easy to clean as the first time I used it. I can't get over how great it is. I permanently leave in on my stovetop as we use it every day!
