Calphalon commercial nonstick are by far the best pots and pans I have ever used. They are all made with the finest construction and have an amazing non-stick surface. (I have been bad and even used metal utensils against it and it is still in tip-top shape.) The saucepan is no exception to Calphalon's quality. The added steamer is perfect for cooking light meals along with the "no-oil needed" non-stick saucepan.

I bought this saucepot because I prefer 2 loop handles and getting it and the steamer at about half the the price of the hard anodized nonstick sauce pan alone, plus a gold box discount, made this a truely exceptional bargain.
After trying one of those plastic steamer/rice cooker and a metal rice/cooker steamer I knew there had to be a better way and this is it.

I have several pieces of the commercial nonstick, and this is a terrific addition to the collection. I frequently need smaller pots, and this one is a perfect complement to the smaller long-handled sauce pans in the collection. The steamer (which sits snugly atop the saucepan) is lovely and very functional. The set comes with a polished steel lid for the pot and a beautiful glass lid for the steamer.

The saucepan is a little on the small side, but the steamer (which also fits larger saucepans) is great. The quality is excellent

It is great! This does have the cool-v handles, they are just the short ones. It is a pot, not a pan! Anyway, the steamer is wonderful too! Broccoli never tasted so good! The nice thing is that the steamer also fits other Calphalon saucepans making it versitle. You won't regret purchasing this set! Enjoy!

The small saucepan holds just the right amount of water for large and small steaming, without being so large that it takes forever to heat. The steamer has a graduated base to fit other, larger pans if needed, but the included one works very well. The glass lid for the steamer allows peeking at the food, though it gets harder to see through once the full head of steam collects on it.

Fantastic buy, and works very well.
