This is a great griddle. My pancakes came out great with just a smidge of butter on the griddle. Heated the chicken breakfast links on one end of the pan and then cooked six pancakes at a time on the other end of the pan. I have a gas range with a bridge burner that spans the depth of my cooktop down the middle. The built-in grill that came with it pretty much sucks (everything stuck to it). So I bought this one as a replacement and am very happy. But. . .

I bought it at Chef's Resource just a week ago as part of the set you see here. I paid $79.99. I see that it is now on Amazon for less than HALF that price!!!! I could kick myself. Even with the shipping charge it is still half that price.

In addition, this is the same exact Calphalon Contemporary double-burner grill that Amazon is selling elsewhere on the site for $125! What this wild price differential is all about I can't begin to imagine. So if you're smart, you'll buy it here.

P.S. I bought this model largely for the flat handles, rather than the all clad with the handles that stand up. Not only do the flat handles not interfere with your spatula as you lift your pancake, but it is so much easier to hang on my wall rack!

Like the commenter above said, this is the exact same pans selling elsewhere on Amazon for $125.00. It is heavy-duty, and heat very evenly. Love it. The bonus gifts of spatula, towel, and pancake mix are also very nice additions. The spatula is well made and the pancake were delicious.

I have a glasstop electric range and needed a griddle that would not warp when it was heated. This griddle worked perfectly on my glass cook surface.

Nice value on the set with pan, cotton towel, plastic spatula & mix. I use the pan to make pancakes for a crowd.

Let me say this is a gift. I hope the product lives up to the reviews. But, I had it 'gift wrapped'.... it came in a blue pillowsheet with a draw string... ok, you said it might be a sack... but I surely expected something worth giving a good friend... it has been so ugly sitting in the corner that I finally broke down and rewrapped it in paper and bow. That is just plain ugly, ugly, ugly. The invoice came stating you could contact 'amazon packaging via the net... no way will that page open, so I am using the only forum I could find to get someone's attention. I surely hope this doesn't reflect the product. L. Slater
