Must Have for Calphalon Cookware,
By
This review is from: Calphalon Dormond, Hard-Anodized Cookware Cleaner, 7-Ounces (Kitchen)
If you want to keep your cookware looking like brand new, you really should use this cleaner. Nothing else I have tried works as well. When you use Dormand cleaner, then rinse the pot in warm water, the water does not stay on the pot and it dries spot free and looks like the day you bought it.

I've use this product for years, my Calphalon cookware is 14 years old, still good a new, thanks to the cleanser. And of course always a better deal in Amazon.

My cookware was from Costco and against the instructions on the box, I put it in the dishwasher. The outsides of the pots became whitish and dull. I thought my pots were ruined until I tried this! Wonderful stuff.

This cleaner, complete with its own Scotchbrite-like applicator, will renew black Calphalon pots (anodized aluminum) to their original look. Highly recommended.

This stuff works! You are instructed to use occasionally. I've restored some used discontinued Calphalon cookware that I've picked up at yard sales or on ebay to near-new condition.

AMAZING CLEANER FOR CALPHALON OWNERS!,
By
This review is from: Calphalon Dormond, Hard-Anodized Cookware Cleaner, 7-Ounces (Kitchen)
I purchased a set of Calphalon's flag ship cookware(Calphalon One Hard Anodized)for my wife this year for Christmas. She was very happy and excited to get this top quality cookware set and wanted to keep her gifts looking new. She tried many different cleaners which didn't do the job right, until she tried Calphalon Dormond Cleaner.
Considering the investment your putting out on this cookware, it's worth buying a jar of this as it takes out scratched and even light gouges with minimal effort. Also Barkeepers friend is great for everyday use on cleaning the inside and outside of the cookware. These two cleaners are all you need to keep your cookware looking brand new and it will last you a life time.

I'm not sure what the big deal is with this stuff. I tried it on my 2 1/2 yr old 10 inch omelet pan and I must say am underwhelmed. Despite several applications and lots of scrubbing, this $15 jar of cleaner was no better than my 89 cent can of Bon Ami, and maybe not as good. I'll probably use it up only because it cost so much, but I won't be ordering it again.

I read from other reviewers that this stuff will clean the daylights out of my anodized aluminum pans.
They are all wrong. You will have to scrub like mad with or without this stuff. I don't think it made any difference in the effort or result. Just use a scouring pad and some hot soapy water.

Works even for "historic" stains!,

I recently acquired a 12 qt. Calphalon hard anodized stock pot and used it two or three times before getting Calphalon Dormond cleanser. The pot developed black-on-black watermark type stains on the inside bottom and the inside lid.
I tried Barkeeper's Friend (because I had it on hand) to remove the stains, but to no avail. When the Dormond arrived I scoured both watermarked areas 6 to 8 times and was finally able to eliminate them, totally. I trust that timely application after each future use of my stockpot will not require nearly such quantity of effort.

I wish I had started with this when we first bought our Calphalon, but we didn't. It does a good job on relatively clean pans, but I was hoping it would do a little more to remove the blackness on our older and heavily used pans. Its not bad and maybe continual use will slowly but surely clean them up, but its certainly not a miracle product.
