Great for pancakes and to protect non-stick cookware
This is a very flexible whisk. We love it for stirring pancake mix- it doesn't stick and gets just enough air in the mix. Also good for stirring in the pan. Not good for jobs that require a stiff whisk.

Flimsy
The handle is way too flimsy. The silver section is separate from the black, and it continually pops apart when mixing heavier items. The handle is hollow. I would prefer a single piece handle of a solid piece of material.

This a large whisk good for whipping up gravy, pancakes, whip cream...etc. I feel this is a good quality whisk, I have not experienced the bending of the silicone wires that others have. I only gave it four stars because I found it cannot be used easily in small one to two quart pots. Hoping Calphalon comes out with a smaller whisk that I can add to my collection.

While I love caphalon, and only use capholon products I found this to be a bit flimsy. It tends to not stay aligned while in use. Ended up replacing with a different brand :(

You need non-metal for use with a nonstick pan but it doesnt work as well

Stick with an old-fashioned wire whisk. The silicone is so bendable, you can't use this piece of c ... junk. ;-p
