5.0 out of 5 stars Small Cool Grip, July 2, 2001
By
Michela (Seattle, WA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Calphalon Cool Grip Handle for Professional Hard-Anodized Cookware, Small (Kitchen)
This Calphalon Small Cool Grip Handle is essential for use with the Calphalon Professional Hard Anodized cookware, such as 7- and 8-Inch Omelet Pans, 1- and 2-Quart Sauté Pans, 1- and 1 1/2-Quart Sauce Pans, and 1-Quart Windsor Pan. I leave my cool grips in place over the handles. Like the Calphalon pans, the cool grips must be hand-washed. If I don't have a cool grip for a Professional Hard Anodized pan, I use the Calphalon suede panhandler or a thick potholder because the chrome plated iron handles on these pans may be hot to the touch.

3.0 out of 5 stars Should be standard equipment..., September 23, 2001

I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 5, not because this isn't a good product but because Calphalon should include these grips with their pans, rather than forcing us to fork over another bucket of dough so we don't have to burn our hands...Other than that, this works well enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best around, May 11, 2003

This review is from: Calphalon Cool Grip Handle for Professional Hard-Anodized Cookware, Small (Kitchen)
If you use Calphalon, this is the ONLY heat handle to use. Slides on smmothly, stays put and keeps your fingers from burning. Highly recommend. Hint: To lift Calphalon lids safely, use wine corks pushed into lid handles. Lift by corks. Like a charm
