A word of warning, this is not an aluminum core pan (a la All Clad) as stated. It is stainless steel with an aluminum core BOTTOM. That said, it is still a nice pan for the money. The curved side-to-bottom makes it perfect for sauces that need to be whisked like a bechamel. Also known as a saucier pan.

I own the 10 pc set and am now adding pieces to the set. They heat very evenly and clean up is a breeze. Also, the people at the calphalon are great w/customer service too. Highly recomend.

I got this pan practically for free b'c it was a friday special and had a $10 cert. I was not expecting much out of it and was even thinking of just giving it to someone. But when I received it, I realized this pan was awesome. First off, it's NOT non-stick which is what I want! It comes with a lid which unfortunately, most of my other pans do not, and the weight of the pan and construction is just simply solid. It does not feel flimsy. I'm a soup and noodle person and use this pan consistantly w/ no problems with it! Awesome buy for and awesome price!

Just FYI: It is stainless steel; IT IS NOT Hard-Anodized and IT IS NOT Nonstick. But I like it anyway.

A great overall pot for smaller dishes or sauces, a great Ramen pot! Great value for the money!

I just bought 2 3 qt. saucepans of this product..........the pans are very nice, the lids are worthless, the handle is not protected at all and burns your fingers, and the underside of the lid tarnished after one time cooking, I am very disgusted, but like I say, the pans are nice, but with those worthless lids, I wished I could return them, I am really disappointed, was looking forward so much to those pans

This pan is wonderful. It has a nice weight so it doesn't feel flemsy in your hand. It has very even heating and the see through lid is a great asset. I would recommend it to all... you won't be disappointed.
