Made of durable hard-anodized aluminum of uniform thickness, these pans are excellent conductors of heat and cook food quickly and evenly. Their double-coated nonstick interiors prevent food from sticking and make cleanup easier. The pans have oval stainless-steel handles with a blasted satin finish that are comfortable to grip and are held in place by sturdy stainless-steel rivets. My husband and I bought this cookware set when we first got married & I absolutely love it! It has a nice weight to it & the base & walls are thick, also the lids fit perfectly. It heats evenly & I never have had any problems with food sticking to them. Just make sure you don't use metal utensils with these or they may scratch the coating, and the only thing I don't like about these is that the oustide can get stained if you let a pan boil over or put it on a burner that is not clean (my husband used to put tortillas & bologna on our coil burner & now I have a stain on the bottom of my frying pan) but I'm sure a little barkeeper's will take it out. All in all they're great & I highly recommend them

Calphalon a name that brings to mind heavy duty pans and heavy price tags. Well I sprung for these pans and cannot be more delighted. The pans do not stick at all, I can go from stove to oven with no worries. The pans are heavy also they are not something that is going to let food burns in an instant I get consistant heating in the whole pan. The lids are something to be desired as you they are not glass and you cannot see through them, but oh well. This is a great set and worth every single dollar!
If you have a gas stove, buy the cleaner that Calphalon recommends it will keep you pans looking new!

I've used these for a while and they still hold up pretty well. They say not to put them in the dishwasher but I have and the non-stick is holding up fine. The lids fit nice and tight and the handles don't get too hot - unless you are just taking one of them out of the oven, in that case the handle will be HOT.
All said I definately recommend these cause: 1. There is just the right pans for most situations - who really needs 15 pans? 2. You get good quality for the money. 3. The non-stick is terrific.
