I recently purchased this Calphalon Nylon Large Slotted Spatula along with all the other matching cooking utensils from Calphalon. I like the versatility in nylon utensils as I can use them on both my nonstick and stainless steal pans without worrying about whether they will scratch anything or not. Unlike my cheap plastic utensils that these replaced the Calphalon ones are heat resistant to 400 degrees. My old cheap plastic ones had burn marks up and down the handles as I used to rest them on the edge of the pan. Prior to buying these, I didn't realize that they made melt-proof nylon. It's nice to know that I'll no longer have the problem of unsightly utensils as the Calphalon nylon ones are strong and durable. I purchased a utensil holder, so now my Calphalon utensils are on display in my kitchen. Along with all their other finer qualities, these utensils are comfortable to use. The thumb guard and finger grip on the handle makes them easy to hold. The solid black color makes them go with most any decor. These will make a nice addition to any kitchen.

This is one of the best turners on the market, I've used it for just about everything, and unlike other turners that look the same, the front plastic does not easily melt and become deformed.
The only problem I have with the product is its name, it is a turner not a spatula. A spatula is small and flexible and used for stirring, but aside from that this product is perfect.

Dishwasher safe and sturdy. I have a large Calphalon collection and this spatula gets used almost every day! Great from making gravy in a frying pan or just flipping anything! Love it!!!

This is a very strong, sturdy cooking utensil! i recommend everyone have the entire set of calphalon utensils! They are safe with your (very) expensive cookware and work great!

Calphalon makes nylon spatulas in three types: large spatula, small spatula, and slotted spatula. Why purchase all three? Other than a collector's satisfaction at completing and displaying a nice set of cooking utensils, there is a practical reason to buy this slotted spatula. I use mine when cooking burgers of any kind, either in a nonstick pan, on a nonstick george grill, or on a nonstick griddle. When I lift the burger to flip it, the beveled edge on the tip of the spatula slides under the burger easily; when the burger is done cooking, I use this slotted spatula to lift it out of the pan, off the grill or griddle, and any fat residue drains off. The slotted spatula is great to use when cooking hash browns, fried green tomatoes, and fried mozzarella, too.

Just like their nylon spoons, great! Heat resistant, won't melt in your pan even if you forget it. Forget it and see what happens, nothing!! if you have a non-stick or even if you don't. Buy it. It's a generous size for you big pots and pans.

This is great for use with Calphalon pans. I wish I bought more than one.

No crowds, no shipping costs if you spend more than ... it's a great arrangement. This spatula can take higher temps and won't scratch my Circulon cookware! I am very pleased ;)

I've had this spatula for what seems like forever. It is still my go to spatula and looks brand new.

Great nylon spatula, great brand, great quality. Will last forever. My kids keep trying to get this one away from me, but I won't let them! :)
