I almost thought reviewing this was silly - I mean, it's an ovsized plastic spoon, right? Well... if that's all it was, I guess I wouldn't feel compeled to take the time to rate it :) Since purchasing this tool, it's always been the first thing I reach for when cooking. The angles of the spoon make it great for scraping the sides of dishes, getting into pesky corners in sauce pots, etc.

It's also extremely heat resistant. You don't need to worry that it's going to melt into your food (or worse, melt and stick to your expensive cookware) like you do with some cheap plastic utensils. So while this is just a big nylon spoon - it's THE king of big, nylon spoons. Enjoy :)

Wow! I spent a long time looking for a heat resistant utensil to use with my wok. The problem with most spatulas and spoons is that you just can not get them to fit snugly against the side of a wok...this item is perfect. The slots in the side are great for allowing unwanted oil or water from being served in your dish. After only two weeks I found myself using my wok so much more as a result of this scoop that I bought another scoop! This is a definite must have for any one interested in making stir fry. It also works well in regular frying pans...great for working around the sides of the pan.

Well, I bought a stir fry scoop for my wife. Then our kids and friends all wanted one! So after ordering them several times we get to keep ours. They work really well on Wok's and regular frying pans. Especially with some meat and veggies you might want to cut while frying. You can turn, cut and scoop with this tool while cooking. Every once and a while something just hits! This did with our group!

ALL THE CALPHALON UTENSILS ARE GREAT & I HAVE MOST OF THEM. MY FAVORITE ONE IS THE STIR FRY SCOOP. THIS HEAT RESISTANT UTENTSIL IS NOT ONLY GOOD FOR STIR FRY BUT I USE IT FOR FRYING GROUND BEEF, (FOR TACO'S, ETC.), GROUND PORK (FOR BISCUITS & GRAVY)...WORKS GREAT FOR SCOOPING THE SIDES OF PANS.

One of the first calphalon products that I got- that was two years ago. Since then, I use this stir fry scoop every time I cook (almost everyday) and until now it still looks like brand new. I don't buy other brand other than Calphalon cookwares for my kitchen anymore. I may spend a little more in the beginning but I save more money in the long run.

This is one of our absolute favorite kitchen tools!! We have 5 of them and use them for just about everything. First thing we reach for when cooking (and my hubby is a very picky cook!)

The name of this nifty utensil is very misleading. This is waaaaaaayyyyy more than JUST a stir-fry scoop! In my house, this is the most often used utensil! Because of the rounded edge shape and the fact that the slots are only on one side of the scoop, this utensil functions on many levels simultaneously - spoon, strainer, scraper, stirer, etc. Best of all, because it is plastic (highly heat resistant, I might add!), it won't scratch your pots and pans!

This scoop came free as part of a promo with some Calphalon pots that we purchased a while back and I think we have probably used this more than the actual pot that it came with! For the price, you can't beat this. Add this to your holiday wish list or buy one for yourself "just because". Either way, you won't regret it!

Works wonderfully, always the first utensil I use. Very multifunctional: strainer, spoon, spatula, gets in the corners, sturdy, yet doesn't scratch pan coating. Love it... recommend it highly

Some of the Calphalon tools are made in the US, some made in China. Unfortunately this purchase was the latter, much to my disappointment.

These utensils consistently perform well, however, and if you want to preserve your nonstick surface, these are essential.

I purchased the Stir Fry Scoop while on vacation. The first time I used it, I loved it. It fits my hand perfectly and handles great. It has replaced the need for most other utensils. I am purchasing 10 more to give to my family and friends as gifts.
