I really don't want to get into a lot of details but let me tell you, there is NO MATCH for the Calphalon ONE Nonstick line. There are soooo many calphalon lines like 'commercial', 'simply calphalon', 'classic', 'contemporary', 'cooking with calphalon', 'kitchen essentials from calphalon' etc. But the build quality of the Calphalon ONE line is like of Lexus when compared to even the top-of-the-line craps from lincoln/cadillacs: the build quality/finishing is ONE-OF-A-KIND in the cookware industry. You've seen many many hard anodized cookware surfaces, right? This one is Anodized, the surface is smooth (no visible lines).
Use: Heats up fast, even, handle stays cool and holds heat very well. The lid is VERY WELL MADE. Clean up is crazy easy.
If you are in the market for quality cookware, please don't kid yourself. Get the best you can get. One thing is that you won't find absolutely ANY SALE on these prices. Amazon's sale price (as well as all other vendors) IS THE MSRP by Calphalon (check their website). But Amazon usually has coupons which will bring the price down. Every penny you will spend on this is worth it.
If you own anything else besides Calphalon ONE and you think you have GREAT cookware, you are kidding yourself or your standards of perfection is low.
If you do get cookware from this line, you MUST use a pot rack to hang these. Stacking on top of each other should be avoided at all times.

I got this pan for $29, so it's a great deal and only bought it because it was at that price. This is my first Calphalon One piece, and it is amazing. Solid, even temperature, lid that fits VERY perfectly.

I cooked eggs tonight in it. The egg whites turned white evenly over the whole pan. To complete cooking of eggs, I put water (small amount) in the pan and it steams the tops. The lid fit perfectly, more than any other pan I've had.

My other pans are the Calphalon that's a step down but they are still almost as good as this. If I were wealthy I would get all Calphalon One pans, but I'm not so most of mine are the next lower and they do the job just as well.

This is a handy pan. Heatproof handles, sloped sides make it easy to saute' then finish foods like paella, jambalaya, or stir fry. The best feature of the pan is that it can go into the oven, lid, handles, and all. It's functionally attractive as a serving piece.

The other reviewers have already sung the praises of this pan. I thought it might clear up some confusion to note that just like the "Calphalon One Nonstick 10-Inch Everyday Pan with Glass Lid" that sells for the $110 MSRP on Amazon, this pan also has a glass lid. The box was marked "limited offer," so it may be an introductory item for the series. I assume it's the same item, but for $60 less. A great deal on an essential lifetime pan.

Regarding quality, ease of use and clean up it's everying it claimed to be. I'm very pleased with the purchase. I'm single and so cooking for one I find the 10 inch size to be adequate. However, if it were for a family purchase or cooking for two or more, I would recommend a larger size.

I've been collecting Calphalon for over 10 years now. Being a cookware snob I've always stuck with the commercial line (regular, not the non-stick). This is my first non-stick and I love it! I also have the crepe pan (love it too!). What I like the most is that thee handles stay cool to the touch. The glass lid is great and fits some of my older models. I plan to add as Amazon brings out the special introductory priced items (only way to buy this stuff). If you are new to Calphalon and would like to try a really nice pan for a really nice price, this is the way to go!

Calphalon One is outstanding! After years of inexpensive pans that warp and chip easy and do not clean easy, it is refreshing to have a pan that does it all: well made, heats evenly, clean easily, handles heat well (no warping!), etc. We purchased two other Caphalon One pans (12 inch and 13 inch) and haven't looked back. We use at least one of the pans almost daily, certainly one of our best kitchen purchases ever.

What a great pan for such a great price! Just wish someone could come up with a hard anodized outside surface that doesn't stain. Be careful ... keep it away from oil on the outside. But such a pleasure to use! And cleanup is so easy! Would purchase again in a New York minute!

As soon as I saw this pan here on Amazon.com, I was hoping it would be my favorite pan........and it is. I've never had an "Everyday" pan, but it truly is that, and the size and shape are perfect to sit right on my glass-top stove and be out of the way but handy to grab. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I'll come back and edit my review after a few months. I use stainless Cuisinart pans for everything else, but a little non-stick skillet is vital for a quick breakfast sandwich, etc., and I'm used to having to replace them (even the expensive ones) every few months. We'll see how this one holds up.

Most of us have a favorite cooking utensil, knife, pot or pan. Some we even leave out just to have when you need it in short notice. My everyday, calphalon one nonstick is just that pan. It has an almost permanent resting place on one eye of the stove but for one simple reason: it is the best to have for the most part. Mine is several years old now and without equivocation it is as clean today as it was when first bought. That is of small relavancy when you compare its ability to cook the food you prepare. That is the most relavant issue and this pan excels with vigor.
