Add a glass lid to your 12-inch Calphalon One Nonstick series pots and pans so you can easily tell with one glance when a soup is coming to a boil or braised meat has been browned. It's made of tempered glass, which has undergone a special heat-treating and cooling process to strengthen the glass. It features a domed construction, which helps moisture from cooking return to the food below more evenly. This glass lid will fit the Calphalon One 5-quart saute pan the 12-inch omelette pan. It will also fit the model numbers 5005 and 1392 in the following Calphalon lines: Commercial Nonstick, Commercial Hard Anodized, Professional Hard Anodized, Professional Nonstick and Professional Nonstick II.

This 12" tempered glass lid is designed for the Calphalon ONE Nonstick line, but because many of our pans feature similar diameters this lid can be used as a replacement lid on many of our products and product lines. It will fit both of these pans: The 5qt Saute (model #5005), and of the 12" omelette (model #1392) in all of these lines: Calphalon ONE Infused, Calphalon ONE Nonstick, Commercial Nonstick, Commercial Hard Anodized, Professional Hard Anodized, Professional Nonstick and Professional Nonstick II.

While the Calphalon lids are rugged, they can be broken. This lid was purchased to replace one which shattered from thermal shock. Amazon offered the best price and the lid was delivered in 2 days. I couldn't ask for better service.

This was just what I needed and it works great and the way it is constructed keeps the handle cooler than my regular lids. Always a great product.

Too bad the original pan did not come with a lid, but this is the PERFECT lid. And, you can even see what you are cooking. Bought both a 10" and a 12" lid.
