Calphalon nonstick pans provide kitchenware that's built to last a lifetime. This 11-inch square griddle is an essential tool for anyone who loves breakfast foods such as pancakes, bacon or hashbrowns. Use a light hand on the heat dial though, to protect the nonstick surface from overheating. Also, use plastic, coated, or wood utensils to preserve the finish. The pan's vented, rounded handle is easy to grip and is made to stay cool to the touch. Unlike pans with plastic or wood handles, the extremely sturdy all-metal construction provides the flexibility to put this pan in the oven--up to 450 degrees. Remember to hand wash all Calphalon pans--dishwasher detergents are bad for the finish, and their use voids the lifetime warranty. --Dale Steinke

Calphalon makes great pans! This griddle distributes heat wonderfully. It would be nice if the sides were just a little higher to prevent spills, but they do make it easy to get to anything on the pan.

I purchased this for myself several years ago and liked it so much that I gave it as a wedding gift on two occasions. The brides liked it so much that I make it a standard gift for weddings.
