I bought these pans to replace the plethora of misc pots and pans I've collected over the years. They are a great value. These pans are in the price range of your typical Costco Farberware or T-Fal set, but are far superior. They heat evenly and fast and the nonstick is the best I've ever used. And although they're heavier than your typical budget cookware, they are not as heavy as, say, Calphalon One. Also, the handles on the lids and the pans stay nice and cool (unlike the Calphalon One pieces I had). They have a 10-year warranty which is enough. In 10 years we'll all be using some kind of reverse-engineered alien technology to cook with anyway.I also went out and bought a set of Calphalon nylon utensils to go with these pans and they are a match made in heaven.

One word of advice. As per the Calphalon instructions (and I never knew this), DO NOT use non-stick spray like PAM with your pans. The propellant in the spray will ruin the nonstick finish. This is easily the culprit that ruined all of my other sets (inlcuding my Calphalon One pans). They also won't honor the warranty if you use it. Use an olive oil mister or a little butter instead.

Great set but the info says 2 & 4 Quart Covered Sauce Pans but you actually get a 1 & 2 quart covered sauce pans. Not much you can do with a 1 quart. 4 would have been perfect. But for this price still a great deal.

After only 2 months of light use the large stockpot's Teflon coating is bubbling and coming loose. Not useable. I had always respected Calphalon - until now.

I received this set as a birthday present and started using it immediately. About one month after using it, I noticed that the teflon literally started to peel off! I found little black mushy clumps in my soup and when I emptied out the pot, I saw big white areas where the teflon had peeled off. I scratched it to see if it was maybe dried food or something at first but low and behold the teflon peeled right off in big sheets. The teflon sheets were also extremely thin which also bothered me, thinner than paper and made me wonder if that wasn't part of the problem. Mind you I hardly used the pans, was careful with them and never burnt anything at all. I also noticed the silver metal around the rim starting to turn brown fairly soon after I started using the pans. I am very disappointed with this set and am contacting the company for a full refund. I have had cheap cookware in the past that held up better than this set and have certainly never had teflon peel off before into my food. I would not recommend this product to anyone as I consider the pans hazardous and frankly they should be recalled. This set is extremely poorly made and not anywhere near the quality for the price. Use at your own risk.

I bought this item not even a couple months ago... since there are too many pans we end up using none of them too much. One of these pans after using it 2 times, I could see like air bubbles between the enamel and pan and after one wash the enamel peeled out so bad that it can never be used again. Now I am scared using other peices because, I dont want me and my family to be eating that enamel. I am hoping for a full refund. This looks like some defective merchandise theya re selling on a sale. Please dont waste your time and money buying this. It is not what u expect a Calphalon to be.

We have experienced serious delaminating of the non-stick coating on this set. Two pots and one pan have started losing their non-stick coating with only light use in a two week period. We previously owned a set of Simply Calphalon and it lasted 10 years. This new generation is simply poor quality material and workmanship. Currently working on returning for warranty but they only replace not refund. We can't trust the Simply Calphalon line anymore.

My wife and I bought this set about a month ago. It looked nice coming out of the box and worked well at first. Just last night as my wife was cleaning out one of the sauce pans, the black enamel finish began to peel off. Yes barely a month old and the enamel finish was already coming off. What a freaking rip-off. We cannot even use that pan and I am now worried about using any of the others as I do not want my family eating some crappy enamel paint they put on these cheaply made pans. I'm hoping to get a refund.

Like others, I didn't even think twice about buying this set because of the Calphalon name, despite it's shorter 10 year warranty. I never thought that the pots' non-stick coating would start bubbling and peeling only after a few times of using them. It occurred almost immediately with my smallest pot, which actually caused a huge argument with partner because I suspected it was his poor care in washing the dishes rather than it being Calphalon's lack in quality (impossible right?). And now, after having used my largest pot for the third time, the entire bottom has bubbled completely. I've already sent back my 1qt pot, after getting them to cover shipping, but it's been over a month and not a single word from them, even though I contacted them via email twice already. At this point, they might as well keep it because this set was a complete waste of time and money. I am completely anti-Calphalon now for even putting such a poor quality set out to consumers!

i bought this 3 months ago for $87. i thought i had a good deal for Calphalon set. I was sooo WRONG! After two uses, the pans bubbled up inside and peeled off. I thought Calphalon is about quality... But this set is not. It's definitely a fake Calphalon set here. DONT BUY!!! This set is BS and it's a rip off. End story!!!!!!

I got these for a super slick deal, one third of the current price, and I'm still way more than a little disappointed. The bottom line, I've had to throw away 3 of the pieces because the non-stick liner began to flake and fall off after a few uses. I expected way more from a name brand like this. Don't waste your money!
