Fully forged from a single piece of German high-carbon stainless steel, this 10-inch knife is ideal for slicing large roasts and the biggest turkeys and hams. The long narrow blade is tapered both from spine to edge and from heel to tip, with a bolster providing balance and safety. Additional balance and strength come from the full tang running through the handle, whose grips are formed of hygienic, fiberglass-reinforced poly that won't crack, split, or chip and are attached to the tang with the traditional three rivets. Because the blade is stainless steel it won't rust, stain, or discolor, and because it is high-carbon it takes and holds a fine edge. This fine knife should be hand washed. It carries a lifetime warranty against defects.
