Fully forged from a single piece of German high-carbon stainless steel, this 5-inch knife with its short, narrow blade and pointed tip is ideal for removing bones from poultry and meats neatly and safely. The blade is tapered from spine to edge and from heel to tip, with a bolster providing balance and safety. Additional balance and strength come from the full tang running through the handle, which is formed of hygienic, fiberglass-reinforced poly that won't crack, split, or chip and is attached to the tang with the traditional three rivets. The high-carbon stainless-steel blade takes and holds a fine edge and it won't rust, stain, or discolor. A quality knife like this should be hand washed. It carries a lifetime warranty against defects.
