This brush is a must for anyone who is a Calphalon collector. If not, there is no better time to start... They make the best cooking products around and this is no exception! Brissols and handle are made to last forever and it includes a handy hook near the bottom so it can rest on the side of the pot or dish. Uses are endless for spreading any type of sauce or butter on food. Dishwasher safe. Wonderful product!

The second time I used this brush clumps of bristles fell out and it is now completely useless. Try a better (and less expensive) brand.

Pastry brushes never seem to last long. I thought that by spending a bit more I would get more use out of this one. At first the bristles fell out one by one, and the second or third time I washed it, the entire head of bristles popped out. If you are looking for a brush that does not lose bristles, I have never found a traditional one that keeps its bristles, but IKEA makes a strange looking pastry brush which has no bristles and therefore cannot lose them, and that's what I have now.
