I wanted something that was neither metal nor nonstick in which to simmer broths. Most enameled cookware is so expensive, but this is very reasonably priced and just the right size for a single person. It is very pretty, too. The measurements on the inside are handy, and it doubles as a large measuring cup.

Altho I like the product, it was pricey-esp. when I saw it in a store later for 1/3 of the cost I paid. It is small, and I would have preferred a larger pot.
