The descriptive text is scholarly, yet completely accessible to non-specialist general readers of a wide variety of educational backgrounds. The Cambridge Photographic Guide To The Planets is a splendid volume for anyone wanting to learn more about the celestial objects that are neighbor to Mother Earth, and would make a prized and appreciated addition to any personal, professional, academic, or community library astronomy collection.

This is most definitely the best book on the Planets that I have ever seen, and I have been collecting books on the Planets since 1966. The pictures are fantastic, and there are many updated information. There is much about the moons as well, however even more of Saturn's moons have been found since this publication. A must for any astronomy lover.

This book is awesome. it came exactly as described. It describes everything you could imagine about all of the planets in the solar system. Highly recommend this book for any amateur or serious astronomer
