I am sorry to say the photo did not represent the product in its entirety. This flatware looks as presented in the current photo however if you turn it sideways you would see there is no back to it -- if you turn in over completely you will see that it is concave. It is very lightweight and small in size - it is very small for an adult male. It is a facade of nice looking silverware. I suggest that a side/back view of flatware should be a standard.

This is a decent and somewhat lightweight set. I would consider it a starter set, as others have mentioned, it is not very heavy or substantial. I have very small hands but someone larger might not like the feel of this flatware. This is a great price for a set of 12 flatware, though, and I must mention it does come with serving spoons, slotted spoon, butter knife, which is a nice addition.

this is an excellent product. it is actually the 2nd time i am purchasing this i have another set and needed more pieces for the holidays and i was thoroughly pleased with my former set. it has lasted me many years. would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Fair price for the set, but not very heavy weight. Looks nice on the table though. This was purchased for my kids, and they liked the style, but again the weight was a little light. I am comparing to Reed and Barton, which I have a preference for, and was hoping this set would be comparabale. Cambridge does make some nice sets, as I have seen them in the past with nice weight....

My husband ordered this set for me the other day. It arrived today, and I will be returning it tomorrow. Most of the knives and a few forks have bluish/grey stains on one side of the handles - the sides that touched each other in the original product box. In addition, two of the knives have small rust spots on one or both sides of the handle. It seems the material beneath the surface is of poor quality, and the flatware is of very light weight. The top coat is clearly of very poor quality as well. I wonder which metals the product is made of. Overall, this set is a great disappointment.

I purchased this because I needed some new everyday flatware and from reading the reviews, I was expecting a nicer set. It's okay but not as heavy as I prefer and not substantial looking like I like my flatware to be. Maybe I'm just pickier than other reviewers. I'll be more careful next time and will remember that "you get what you pay for." I will probably give this as a gift to a younger person just starting out. It would be an outstanding buy for that purpose.

I received my order today and Im truly impressed. I was going to use this for everyday but have decided to use for my good set instead. At this point, it looks better than my expensive good stuff! Im ordering another set to, so Ill have plenty of place settings. Good buy, Im completely satisfied and would recommend this to everyone!

For the price, this is a great set! It's sturdy, and beautifully wrought. I am absolutely in love with this flatware set and so are my friends! It's a must have.

This makes a nice extra set for the price. Nice looking, not real substantial to hold.

Regardless of what the other reviews say this is a great product. The silverware is a very nice looking metal & design. It is light & slightly concave on the back. But I prefer that to the average straight silver. It's easier to handle, especially for young children. The way it was packaged was a bit of a pain. (Each utensil was in an individual sleeve.) But I know that is the manufacturing companys' doing and not the seller. I would highly recommend this product to others.
