The P200 is the entry level Newton series SW from Cambridge Soundworks. It is a single driver design as opposed to the dual driver P500 and P1000. It also has a lower powered amp (200 watts vs. 500/1000 respectively for the P500 and P100). That said, the sound quality is very similar across all three models. The P200 is great for a smaller space. It would be nice to have the remote controls as with the P500/1000, but the significant $ saved make up for the miminal loss in convenience. I am experiencing very smooth and dynamic bass response down to 25Hz. Highly recommended.

This subwoofer provides excellent bass all the way down to the lower frequencies especially for its size. I would recommend this subwoofer to someone who has a smaller room, or who can place it in a corner position (this provides a nice increase in output). I found the subwoofer to be especially adept when watching movies, and it handled everything I threw at it and never bottomed out while sounding great. I am actually using this sub in a bit larger room and paired with CSW's other subwoofer the P500. I find the P500 preferable for music, but I prefer the P200 for movies, and the P200 handles the lower frequencies better in my experience. Anyway, this subwoofer blends very well with my system, and I am surprised at and happy with what it accomplishes for its size.
