The "Cambridge Thesaurus" is a useful addition to my library as it helps me find suitable words when writing papers. My job involves writing a lot of conference papers and making contributions to the organization's magazine. I often need to choose the right word to ensure that there is no confusion on the meaning that I may wish to convey to my audience. This is where the thesaurus has been very useful and convenient.
Sometimes I may use the same word in a sentence and may wish to find an alternative word to improve the way a sentence would sound. Here again, this thesaurus has been an excellent companion. I recommend the thesaurus to those who need to ensure that they produce good quality papers and need to choose the right word to convey the intended meaning. I rate this thesaurus very highly. |
