This organizer is the first one that has worked for me. I spend much of my time in meetings. It has been a real challenge keeping on top of the materials I need for each meeting and the action items I've taken. This binder has been a huge help.
Every morning I print the "daily style" view of my Microsoft Outlook calendar, 3-hole punch it, and put it into the 1" binder part. In this way, I not only have all of my appointments and their locations at a glance, but also a sufficient "notes" area where I can keep track of things I need to do. Bonus: At the end of the week I have a complete diary that makes it easy for my to put together my weekly report. (And -- Oops! -- discover that action item I forgot about.) The binder is sturdy with ample pockets for loose papers. On the left, it has a shallow expanding pocket is large enough to hold a manilla file folder. (I have also added another paper pocket to the 3-ring binder part.) There are plenty of slots for business cards, one pencil pocket, and a small snap-closure pocket that is is suitable for holding a couple of 3 1/2" diskettes or memory sticks. Another flat zipper pocket holds smaller papers securely; although it's not quite large enough for an 8 1/2" x 11" flat sheet. The calculator is a standard 4-function model with a solar cell. The cover has a shallow pocket that is handy for stuffing anything you need to keep close at hand. In short-- if you're on the road and have lots of thinks to keep track of, this organizer might be just what you need.
