The newbie camper frequently does not know the nuances of available hook up connectors. Trailer/RV manufacturers ought to be required to put a Camco brochure in each unit. Sturdy, convenient, reliable. It is a great adapter and it makes unpleasant hook n unhook an easier task. Keep it up Camco.

This is a must for your Camco discharge hoses. Also makes it easier when dumping as the fit is better when making your connections. Less chance of being attacked by the "Sewer Hose Monster". Seen it happen to others and it can be "NASTY"...

item very good! sturdy been using very often we are diehard camper so it gets use on a regular basic.

Maybe it's just mine, but I seem to have a problem with the "easy disconnect for storage" being a bit, well, too easy. The elbow will sometimes pop off the threaded piece while dumping, which just isn't much fun to deal with. I'm now on the market for one that LOCKS in place rather than just sitting in place.

As a new RV owner, I did not realize that some parks are in municipal areas that require a threaded connection to the sewer standpipe. This device works like a charm. I love the Easy Slip connection too.

I bought the Camco 39651 RV HTS 20' Super Heavy Duty Sewer Hose and Camco 39173 RV Easy Slip Straight Hose Bayonet Adapter and Camco 39144 RV Easy Slip Elbow and 4 in 1 Adapter. Super simple, high quality, and no leaking for 2 years now. All but the 4-in-1 adapter fits in the square bumper nicely. Camco makes the best stuff in my opinion. Brilliant. I am leaving the same review on all 3 parts mentioned here.

This elbow makes dumping the waste so much easier. Hose goes right on and you dont have the worries of it slipping off during the dirty work.
