While the mesh on these sink strainers is tight, the lip is not as wide as the picture suggests. Had the metal lip been wider on the outside, I would have rated this higher. As it is rather difficult to grab to clear with the small lip.

I thought I found a solution for my bathroom sink and tub. The kitchen strainer was just a plus. These are hard to clean (can't just bang on trash can to clean like the ones for kitchen sink I have been using) and within 72 hours the tub strainer is rusty. Guess I will look for another manufacturer and hope the next one doesn't rust so fast.

I live in a 26 foot Forest River Toy Hauler while building a house. No matter how hard you try, little bits of food go down the sink (where nothing is supposed to go but liquid). My sink kept getting clogged so I broke down and ordered these screens. They work really well so far! They dont pop up out of sink hole easily, so they arent knocked out of place by dishes. The tub screen was a little too large for my shower, but we weren't too concerned with the shower drain in first place. The smaller two screens fit perfectly in kitchen sink and bathroom sink (to catch items like rings and Q-tips).
