Waste of money, batteries and time.,

Don't waste your money on this RV refrigerator accessory. Had one and gave it to a friend to use. Instead, I purchased a 12 volt semi-permanent fan which clips onto the fins at the rear of the frig. Hooks up to the 12V line available at the refer light and when clipped to the fins, the fins act as a ground. It is the best device to keep your refer really cold and only cost around $14, not that mush more than this useless unit and definitely a lot more when you factor in all the batteries you will buy. It is available from an EBAY site. Check EBAY if you are interested, but don't waste your money on this one and all the batteries you will devour.

Pretty simple. The fan blows a small amount of air around the fridge to keep the temperature consistant. I use it in my RV fridge (4 cu ft). The bag of charcoal i.e. odor filter is lame. The bag gets caught in the cover when you try to snap it on.Biggest problem I'v had is when the fridge is full, air doesn't circulate any way. I expect this is helping a little, but is no big difference in the way the fridge works. No off switch, so you have to remove the cover to stop the fan between trips.

No on/off switch so it is always running as soon as you put the batteries in and the battery compartment cover is rather cheap and it not the easiest thing to remove without breaking it.I bought this in an attempt to make my RV fridge work better. This helped a bit but the whole fridge was defective and replaced. I am now using it in the new fridge but the problem is finding an unobstructed place to allow the air to flow. An RV fridge is already small so this takes up room too. I might use some velcro to mount it to the top.

I was told about this item from other RV users. I figured that it can't hurt but I was suprised when I found that items that were cold in one part of the refrigerator were not as cold or frozen in other parts of the frige. Now it seems that I have even temperature through out the frige and I was able to lower the cold setting and still get the same results. Easy item to use and it came with a charcoal filter that leaves the frige with no unusual smells. Camco 44123 RV Fridge Airator

Put new batteries in and it worked for 1 minute and stopped. We could not get it to work again. Unfortunately we waited a month to open the package and missed the return window. In the garbage it goes. A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. It is almost criminal Camco can get away with selling such cheap stuff that doesn't work. They should be ashamed.

Batteries will not keep unit turning. No bearings on fan...must be just plastic shaft to plastic cut out hole. Will try to return. Do not waste your money on this.

I haven't used this in the RV fridge yet since we haven't been camping since I bought but I did want to try to install batteries since several people noted that it was very hard. After installing D batteries, I found that if you put the right end of the cover in first that the other side would just snap right into place. If you tried it the other way, it was very difficult so when you install batteries and try to reinstall the cover try it both ways if the cover is hard to install. I don't have it in front of me right now so I can't be more specific as to which side has to go first so just try it both ways if your first try isn't easy.

I've been using these fans about 2 months now. They are working fine. They are not as good as my previous fans but performance is acceptable. I do believe this are overpriced.
