Cover is a bit over-sized!,

This review is from: Camco 45762 RV 10'-12' ULTRAGuard Pop'-Up Camper Cover (Automotive)
When I saw the ad for the Camco 10'-12' ULTRAGuard Camper Cover, I figured the cover must be twice as good as the competition's camper cover because it cost twice as much as the competition's cover. Surprisingly, the Camco cover is constructed from what seems to be very durable materials (Made in China). I have a pop-up camper with a 12 foot box. Thus, I ordered the Camco 10'-12' cover which is made to fit any pop-up from 10 to 12 feet. Figuring my camper was a 12 foot box, the cover should fit a 12 foot box a lot better than a 10 foot box. Well, that's just it... GO FIGURE! When I put the new cover over my camper, it was still over-sized by about 6" on each end of the top and after strapping the cover down on the sides, the ends still sag quite a bit. So much so that not only can I cover the spare tire on the rear (which is normal), I can also cover the double-propane tanks on the front (not normal). But, even covering all that stuff, the cover is still quite baggie on the ends, particularly the rear end. I feel particularly bad for the person with a 10 foot box that orders the 10'-12' cover. I actually thought about exchanging the cover for a 8'-10'. But, sure as rain in the spring, if I exchanged it, the 8'-10' cover would probably be too short at the top. So, it's a live-and-learn situation. And it still seems the cover will serve the purpose it was intended for. Only time (and a good windy day or two) will tell if this cover will be efficient enough to continue using. They say hindsight is 20/20. Therefore, my advice to others looking to purchase a 10'-12' cover would be to try to shop locally if possible in order to make returning the cover easier should the need arise... OR contact the manufacturer of your camper to get a cover that will probably fit your camper like a glove.
Aside from my misfortunes, the cover seems to be well-made and basically is a beautiful cover. You simply should not expect the cover to look as beautiful as the picture in the advertisement as pop-up campers come in many different geometric shapes (other than simply square like the picture in this ad) and sizes. And remember, a 2 foot differential with each size is quite a lot. So, don't expect 'exactly' what you see in the picture. In fact, another manufacturer through Amazon sells a triple layer cover with vents for under $50. However, those do not have support straps on the sides for added security from the elements. Shop carefully and wisely is my final advice. Money's pretty hard to get these days!

I heard somewhere that you should buy a cover a foot longer than your box if you have an AC on top, which I do on my 12' Coleman Tacoma ('03). Not good advice, at least with this cover. Even with the large AC unit, this cover overhangs the front and back of my roof by about a foot each, based on the seams where the "top" fabric (heavier) is sewed onto the "ends." I think the 10-12 footer would've been a better fit. But, having said that, when it's strapped on it still looks OK (covers the propane tanks and most of the tongue; not a bad thing) and feels pretty secure. It didn't move around during the first big wind of the fall, and the shorter cover seems to be back-ordered through Amazon, so I'll keep it.
Otherwise, nice cover. Feels like quality fabric, good tie downs, etc. Just err on the side of shorter rather than longer.

We have an 09 Coleman Westlake and this cover fit perfect. The cover itself is very durable and well made and very easy to secure to the trailer.
