We had another type of plate holder which lasted us for a long time but eventually the tabs holding it in place under the cabinet broke one at a time until it essentially fell down! In any case this particular Pop A Plate holder seems to be a very solid plastic, easy to install, & VERY easy to take down & put back in place when replenishing a stack of plates (our other one was a task at times). I would suggest that you NOT use the thin styrofoam type of plates because they will break when you try to dispense them from the holder & also nothing of a hard plastic nature as it is very difficult to pull them out of the Pop A Plate dispenser. Also make sure of the size of the plates (I know this seems obvious)as we use strictly 9" paper type plates though I have seen it stated that 8 3/4" will work as well? I can however tell you from experience that 8 1/2 will NOT work as they will all fall through when you try to pull one down! On a final note it does take some getting used to in trying to grip just ONE plate & pull it down but it is still far more convenient than reaching down into a cabinet or underneath somewhere & so forth! Overall I highly recommend this product.

If you shuffle your tightly packed paper plates before putting them in this device, it works better. Sometimes the part holding up the plates comes loose if you don't pull the plates out in a straight downward motion. (If this part were stronger, it would definitely help.) It takes some practice to get it exactly right.

I purchased Camco 57001 Pop-A-Plate I love it, now my paper plates are eaiser to get to. I purchased 4 of them a year ago for my sisters, mother in law and myself. I purchased 2 more this time for our travel trailer. They are easy to install and work great

I originally bought one of these at K-mart on a close out rack about 20 years ago and I hadn't seen one since. Last year we had a fire and that was one of things that I lost that I didn't realize how much I used it until I didn't have it. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. This holder fits right up under the cupboard in my kitchen and holds about 75-100 paper plates. I never really used the styrofoam plates in it but I should think they should work. Just remember nothing bigger than 8-9 inch. I put it to the front of the cupboard so it was always in reach for my kids when they were little. The fact that they could help themselves made them feel important and they were eager to get them when asked. The paper plates are out of the way, kinda out of sight but still in quick reach. You can take it down and run it through the dishwasher whenever it needs a quick wash. Simple to put up. About the biggest challenge other than where to put it is making sure you get it lined up right before you screw it down, so your plate opening is where you want it. You may have to practice putting the plate holder onto the base a couple of times to get the hang of how it fits together, but its pretty simple to work.

This is my favorite thing in my kitchen! I use Dixie brand paper plates with it and they seem to do the best! I bought this for a friend because she talked about it all the time when she came over so I bought her one for her birthday! My mom and sister have one and they love theirs too!! It comes in very handy if you have kids that are a little too short to reach the top cabinets! No more climbing on counters to get a plate for them! :o) Love this product!!!

My parents had these in their RV. When I moved, my kitchen wasn't huge but I wanted to have some paper plates handy. I bought these. They are great. If I need to use a paper plate or bowl they are always handy. Saves space and easy access.

If you have an RV I think these are a must.

Pop A Plate is a wonderful invention. It is a very handy product. Had one years ago and missed it so much that I got on line and found out where I could get a new one. Glad I did.

I bought this to have in the kitchen so my young kids have paper plates handy when they make their own toast or sandwiches. I used to keep a stack of paper plates on top of the fridge, but of course the kids couldn't reach them there. Mounting this under a cabinet makes the plates accessible, but keeps them neat and out of the way. I "fan" the plates before loading the holder and after 3 months of use haven't had any issues. I mounted the holder using 3M velcro mounting strips to avoid screwing into my cabinets and so far everything is holding well. Very satisfied with the item, especially considering how inexpensive it is.

I LOVE THE POP A PLATE, THY R A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR KITCHEN . HAVE HAD THEM BEFORE ,BUT THEY GOT MISPLACED IN THE MOVE SO I WAS HAPPY I FOUND THEM.
