We bought this gas grill with one thought in mind...grilling steaks..It's performed very well. Grilling other meats like chicken breasts, burgers, and hotdogs was done easily. It does take a while for the grill to get up to speed heat wise, but it's worth waiting..the hotter the better for steaks. One thing laking was a top rack which could hold food about the cooking grate to keep warm....We found that connecting the grill with a larger propane take seemed to work best

Identical grill to the one we had for 10 years or so, however--
this one does NOT heat near as well as the old one. It takes much longer to cook. What are we doing wrong? We are hooked to a small propane canister (that we used with the old one), but it doesn't have any real "heat." Do we need to use a larger canister or--??

It is also hard to light.

I purchased This Camco 4100 grill from amazon - I mounted it to my motorhome and when I tested it I dicovered the regulator control valve is defective. I guess i'm stuck buying a new one for another $20.00 as I don't know where to address this issue and the valve is stamped china, and has a unique fitting configuration.

This is a really great grill. It cooks evenly and the last one we had lasted many years. The only problem we had seems to be related to the manufacturer's packaging. It's hard to know when the damage occurred (shipping, packing, manufacture, etc.), but the first two grills I received had significant cracks in the shell. Amazon was GREAT about replacing them at no extra charge. Thanks and Great job Amazon!!!

I like everything about the grill except it will only fit 2-3 t-bone steaks at one time. It would be a great grill for a family of two.

I grill much of the time while RVing. This grill is perfect for travel...good size. I am on my third one, over several years. However The last two grills i ordered from Amazon, they were delivered with a crack in the unit. The delivery packing was fine, but the manufacturer's packing is not sufficient...still I recommend the grill. Amazon was excellent in replacing or refunding.

Purchased two of these for Christmas gifts. One had no hole for the handle on one end. Drilled my own. The other had stripped threads on the lower handle. Re-threaded and made it work. Liked the grill and it's cooking benefits but, feel quality control should be better. Luckily any DIY handyman could refurbish to make usable. I'd suggest buying this in a store where you can inspect it first.
After extended use this summer I found that the regulator is faulty. No matter the setting it always runs on high. It also will not shut completely off allowing the gas in the cannister to escape. I expected more from a grill this costly. Much better performance from some of the $30 varieties. My advice .... shop elsewhere for a quality grill.

After researching for a Tabletop Gas BBQ Grill, we decided on this one. We are very pleased with it's ease of set-up and quality. Several of our friends have owned Olympian grills for many years and they are the only grills that have survived. We use our grill for camping trips and we are hopeful that we too will be using this grill for many years to come. I would recommend this Grill highly!

This grill arrived with a crack on the cover. Damage during shipment is not the fault of the manufacturer, so IMO Amazon could have boxed it more protectively.
I advise all buyers to save all packaging until they know the product they have purchased is satisfactory.

just want to say that I've had my original 4100 for over 9 years. It had 5 years on it before I got it. I've used it at least 3 times a week for those 9 years. I'm getting a new one just because the heating unite has seen it's last days. the 4100 tabletop grill, I think, is one of the most reliable tabletop gas grills I've ever owned!!!!!!!!!!!!
