These work well to replace hoses that have the fine-thread POL connectors with wrench flats. They are only for tanks with the outside acme threads. Need to switch out a tank in the cold? These make for a quick, painless, tool-free job. Be aware, the sealing point on the 1/4 inverted flare end is the inside cone on the tip, not the threads, so do not apply sealing tape to the threads.

The "RV" pig tail won't necessarily fit right into your RV setup. Keep your old pig tail until you get this new replacement. The item worked fine but I had to buy a few fittings to transition from the thread type and size to mate this item to my RV system. Having my old pig tail allowed me to walk into my local hardware store and show them what I needed instead of trying to explain. It's not just the size. You have to make sure the threads are the same as your RV.

Solid. Works great no problems I can foresee. I got this for my generator conversation. I have an auto changeover regulator. Which switches from an empty tank to the full one. Allowing me to go fill the other. These hose connectors with help.

I use this to hook propane up to my Rv's extend-a-stay tee. This allows us to keep the heat going using external propane tanks while cold weather hunting.

Needed a little longer hose to hook our larger propane tank to our RV. Works great for our application on our fith wheel travel trailer.

After less than one year both hoses have started to crack from exposure to weather or sunlight and now should be replaced. In comparison the hose on my BBQ grill is 5 years old and has not cracked. This must be cheap of defective rubber.

Replaced factory hose with this replacement. Product installed easily however, there was a slight leak at the regulator fitting. I added some sealent and re-tighened. No leaks, and system tested OK. Extra length was worth the money.

I bought 2. One installed just fine. The second one failed. The threads on the 1/4" brass fitting stripped while installing. I think the brass may be a touch cheap so beware while hooking up.
