Visual Learning in the Digital Age, April 20, 2002

This review is from: Camcorder in the Classroom: Using the Videocamera to Enliven Curriculum (Paperback)
I was searching for some guidance on techniques to enhance the learning of some students who needed an extra dimension to their spark their interest. They were bored, and I was at my wits' end trying to find ways of engaging them. Well, let me tell you, there are many suggestions in this book that have helped me to find ways to not only engage students' interest where they might not otherwise have any, but it had quite a few suggestions on monitoring and recording progress. When you have a classroom full of active learners, it's sometimes difficult to keep an eye on everybody. This book is full of suggestions and techniques that have given me a lot of ideas to help. I hope they come out with a new addition soon to keep up with the advances in the technology. Some of the equipment descriptions and drawings are outdated already! Good book for your reference list!
