Handcrafted in Peru, each doll is made from all-natural fibers (100% clean, carded wool for the stuffing and 100% cotton for the skin, embroidery and clothing). Comes dressed in a checked top and navy cotton or corduroy overalls. Additional clothing old separately. Ages 3+.

This doll 'Jake' Camden Doll - Natural Waldorf Doll is a work of art. He is soft but feels substantial because he's filled with wool. I love that he comes with overalls and a shirt (100% cotton) that he can learn to take on and off. Jake's expensive, and I tried to find a sale but Camden Rose products never go on sale...but this was the best deal I was able to find on a Waldorf doll, which I really wanted. I feel really good about supporting Camden Rose and the cooperative of Peruvian women who made this doll, and I feel great about giving my son a gorgeous doll made of totally natural, non-toxic materials. I can't wait for him to find it under the Christmas tree. He'll be 16 months when he gets this doll.

My two-year-old nephew started enthusiastically play-breastfeeding his stuffed animals after the birth of his little brother, which was quite cute and humorous, but still seemed to require a response that a. didn't squash his nurturing instinct but b. channeled it in a way that acknowledged only mommies can feed their babies that way! This adorable doll was the perfect answer: my nephew can give him a bottle, fasten his overalls, tuck him in at night and generally drag him around everywhere. "Jake" has held up great and is the perfect size for a toddler to hold and cuddle. A+.
