My granddaughter, 2 1/2, loves helping her mommy cook or bake in the kitchen. She climbs up on a stool her daddy gave her and gets to work. Her mom used to give her a little flour in a plastic cup and a small spoon to stir with, and that satisfied her for the entire time they were in the kitchen.

Now, Violet can mix, make dough, roll the dough and bake with the best of them. She loves to make pizza, pretend or real. She can take the pizza dough, roll it out with the rolling pin and make shapes her imagination decides. This Camden Rose Baking Set is one of the best and most complete sets I have found. The mixing bowls and measuring cups and spoons are made of stainless steel, the rolling pin, real wood and the baking pans metal. They are of such high quality that my daughter was tempted to use the measuring cups as her own. The rolling pin has movable parts, just like the old time rolling pins our grandmothers used. This set is unique in that is is an exact replica of a real set used by adults. The durability and safety of this set is A-One! I am so pleased with this set, that I have exclaimed over the quality to anyone who asks. The proof is in the pudding, so to speak, however, and it is my granddaughter who loves this set the most. No matter what her mother is doing in the kitchen, she wants her baking set and off she goes, making the meals of her dreams!

I purchased this for my daughters upcoming 4th birthday because she loves to "help" me in the kitchen. These items are high quality and functional, but perfectly sized for little hands. The cherry wood is beautiful and I love the clean, simple design of the stainless steel items.
