4.0 out of 5 stars Great old stuff. Acceptable new stuff, June 4, 1998
This review is from: It Came From the Barn (Audio CD)
PSD remains the essential band for all those who enjoy beer swilling mayhem fueled by high intelligence and sardonic wit. This collection of new material and old live 'classics' highlights both the appeal of PSD, crazed live shows, and the weakness of PSD, dull studio work. They are a band who are best seen live. The live part of this disc is a great intro to the PSD experience. In all a great reminder of your college days. (If you grew up in Western Mass.)

4.0 out of 5 stars PSD Still The best Live Show, December 14, 2000
This review is from: It Came From the Barn (Audio CD)
On a whim or chance did I even find a copy of this CD now living far away from the Western Mass of my youth. Some of my greatest Memories were seeing PSD play Live and as then, I wonder why this band never went much past that music filled area. The live stuff on the CD, is as good as I remember, new recordings are a little less impressive, but worth the listen. I comend PSD for continueing the play, and recomend this "blast from the past" to any who remember, and any who love great 80's style fun-punk, Western Mass Hardcore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun Band, November 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: It Came From the Barn (Audio CD)
I liked the CD. They also have a couple great instrumentals and a kinda nightmare induced version of Helpless (Some kind of encounter with Big Bird and feathers flying). Also I thought I heard one of the songs on a movie soundtrack relating to Women Snowboarders. The live stuff brought back memories of them drunken college days of Blood Sweat and Beers. I also noticed Joey Santiago (Fomerly of Pixies) and J. Mascis (Of Dinosaur Jr) making guest appearences on this CD. How come this CD never made it to top 50,000! I would recommend it. Play it load. At hi volumes rumor has it you could rid your home of unwanted rodents.
